
Saints win 3-0 during last regular season conference match vs IUSB
The Holy Cross College women's soccer team faced off against Indiana University South Bend on Tuesday, October 29th, securing a 3-0 victory in the last regular season conference matchup of the season, before the CCAC conference tournament.
The game's first goal came from Miriam Iturriaga-Sanchez (Goshen, IN), with an assist from Sydney Beeman (Ligonier, IN). Cameron Fallacara (Cape Coral, FL) got another goal for the Saints in the first half, assisted by Emma Vono (Burlington, Canada) giving the Saints a 2-0 lead going into halftime. During the second half Fallacara recorded a made penalty kick, putting the Saints up 3-0 for the final minutes of the game. Holy Cross goalkeeper Madeleine Agee (Houston, TX) recorded another clean sheet, after being named CCAC defensive player of the week earlier in the day, for the second time this season! The Saints, now standing at 8-7-3 overall and 6-2-3 in conference play, ranking them 3rd in the CCAC! The Saints are currently waiting to find out their final position in the conference and where their next match will take place
