The Holy Cross College women's soccer team faced off against Trinity Christian College on Saturday, October 26th, securing a 1-0 victory in a competitive conference matchup.
The game's only goal came from Miriam Iturriaga-Sanchez (Goshen, IN), with an assist from Neyda Macias (Ligonier, IN), giving the Saints the lead they would hold until the end. Holy Cross goalkeeper Madeleine Agee (Houston, TX) was exceptional, stopping all 7 shots on goal to keep the Saints in control defensively. Offensively, Holy Cross managed 2 shots on goal out of 5 total attempts. This is the first time in program history the Saints have beaten TCC!
The Saints, now standing at 7-7-3 overall and 5-2-3 in conference play, will play their final regular-season game on the road at IUSB on October 29th at 5:00 p.m.
The Holy Cross College Saints compete in eight intercollegiate sports for men and women.
