Saints tie Olivet Nazarene 1-1

The Holy Cross College women's soccer team faced off against Olivet Nazarene at home on Wednesday, October 9th, resulting in a hard-fought 1-1 tie. After an early goal from Abigail Fouts, assisted from a corner kick by Avery Peter, in the second minute of the match, the Saints conceded a goal in the 40th minute, leaving the half 1-1. The second half left both teams scoreless, leaving the final score in a 1-1 tie. 

Holy Cross goalkeeper Madeleine Agee showcased her skills, recorded saving 8 shots during the match, keeping the Saints competitive throughout the game.

 

NEXT TIME OUT:
The Saints will look to bounce back as they face off against St. Ambrose. Kickoff is set for 12:00 PM, and the Holy Cross student-fan section, the Dog Pound, will have yard games and Franky's Taco Truck out at both the Women's and Men's matches!

 

The Holy Cross College Saints compete in eight intercollegiate sports for men and women.
