Saint fall in second half 2-0 to Marian

The Holy Cross College Women's soccer team went back on the road Wednesday afternoon when they played the Marian. Holy Cross would entered halftime tied at 0-0  The women's team held off Marian from scoring with 3 big saves from Freshman goalie Madeleine Agee. Holy Cross left Marian unvictorious with a 2-0 final score. The Saints showcased their hard work ethics again by staying displined on defence. Holy Cross is currently holding a record of 1-3-0 for the season.  

COACH COMMENTS 

"Word for the day was discipline. Can we be disciplined enough to play these good teams? We had to be disciplined defensively and that's all I had to ask for. Girls defended well all game in those humid conditions, everyone gave it all and coaches are very proud of that. Madeleine Agee, our Gk was outstanding!" -Duma Magagula 

 

NEXT TIME OUT: 

The Saints return to play on September 3rd at home against Goshen. Kickoff is set for 5:30pm.
