1-0 Win for the Saints vs Rochester Christian

The Holy Cross College Women's soccer team returned to the pitch Tuesday afternoon when they played on the road at Rochester Christian. Holy Cross would enter halftime up 1-0 with a goal from Sophmore Miram Iturriaga-Sanchez. The women's team played a hard-fought match against RC and left victorious with a 1-0 score. Their hard work ethics and solid defensive plays allowed Holy Cross to keep a clean sheet in their first win of the season. Holy Cross is currently holding a record of 1-1-0 for the season.  

COACH COMMENTS 

"Today's win was a testament to our belief in one another and our relentless work ethic. Every player who stepped onto the field contributed to this victory, and the consistency in our effort was remarkable. We still have plenty of work ahead of us, but the progress is evident with every game we play." -Duma Magagula 

 

NEXT TIME OUT: 

The Saints return to play on August 24th when they take on the University of Northwestern Ohio at home. Kickoff is set for 12:00pm. 

 

The Holy Cross College Saints compete in eight intercollegiate sports for men and women.
