
Bill Johnson Memorial Tournament - Women's Golf Event Recap
The women's golf team demonstrated high skill sets at the Bill Johnson Memorial Tournament held at Cinder Ridge Golf Course in Wilmington, IL, on October 2-3. Highlighting the team's success was Freshman Bianca Huizar (Winamac, IL), who not only secured an impressive second-place finish but also achieved a personal best with a remarkable first-round score of 75. She followed up with an 82, showcasing her talent and determination throughout the tournament.
Jill Daniels (Mishawaka, IN) made a strong effort, improving her performance over the two days with scores of 99 and 94, ultimately tying for 22nd place. Sierra Benge (Plainfield, IN) battled hard, finishing in 28th place with rounds of 98 and 102. Savannah Payne-Gall (Portage, IN) and Eva De La Rosa (Addison, IL) faced some challenges but continued to display their skills, finishing 32nd and 34th, respectively.
