Women's Golf take on the Battle at Blackthorn

Recap:

At the "Battle at Blackthorn" tournament hosted by Bethel on September 9-10, the women's golf team delivered a strong performance to kick off their Fall season. Bianca Huizar led the team with a consistent showing, finishing tied for 16th place after rounds of 87 and 82. Sierra Benge followed closely, tying for 20th place with scores of 89 and 85. Jill Daniels improved notably in her second round, ending in a tie for 29th place with scores of 91 and 87. Although Eva De La Rosa and Savannah Payne-Gall had more challenging rounds, their contributions were part of the team's overall effort.

 

Coach Clark remarked on the tournament, saying, "Battle at Blackthorn was an exciting and promising start to our Fall season. Our golfers shook off some first-tournament jitters and earned two impressive top-20 finishes."

The Holy Cross College Saints compete in eight intercollegiate sports for men and women.
