
Grace Adams Named CCAC Defensive Player of the Week
"Adams netted CCAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades after averaging 8.5 defensive rebounds (11.0 overall), 3.0 steals and 2.5 blocks per outing. Offensively, she delivered an average of 20.0 points per game across two contests.
All 11 of Adams' rebounds in the setback to Indiana Northwest came on the defensive glass, while also recording three blocks, two steals and 17 points.
The senior forward was the key Saint in Holy Cross' 92-51 victory opposite Calumet College of St. Joseph on Saturday. In that game, Adams delivered another 11 rebounds (six on defense), four steals, two blocks, three assists and 23 points.
