Saints fall to Indiana Northwest

1st Quarter: The Saints got off to a slow start offensively, scoring 8 points in the first quarter. They faced early struggles with tough defense from IUNW. Leading the way in the first quarter for the Saints was La'Bria Austin (Buchanan, MI/ Buchanan HS), Allie Caldwell (Zionsville, IN/ Zionsville HS), Brooke Lindesmith (Crown Point, IN / Crown Point HS), and Audrey Tallent (Plainfield,IN/ Plainfield HS) all with 2 points.  

2nd Quarter: The same struggle for Holy Cross continued in the second quarter as IUNW held the Saints to 21 points. The Saints were down 29-40 at the end of the first half. In the second quarter the Saints were led by Freshman Allie Caldwell with 8 points and a steal. 

3rd Quarter: The third quarter Holy Cross brought the Saint to a score of 43-64, led by Grace Adams, who tallied 5 points and 2 rebounds in the period. They shot 33.3% behind the arc and 37.5% from two. The Saints would trail behind IUNW at the end of the third.

4th Quarter: Finishing the game out was not as successful for the Saints, while they gave up 14 while scoring 20 in the final quarter, the Saints just could not catch IUNW. Caldwell added 10 points, showing poise from the paint going 3 for 6. The saints would end with a loss of 64-78.
