Men's Tennis Takes Home 4-0 Win Against Huntington

The Holy Cross College men's tennis team earned a convincing 4-0 victory over Huntington University on Saturday. The Saints displayed dominance in both doubles and singles, sweeping the match to secure their win.

In doubles, Holy Cross quickly took control. Luca McManus (Delray Beach, Florida) and Perry Gregg (Chicago, IL) clinched a 6-1 win at #1 doubles, followed by Oscar Wai (Hong Kong, China) and Naithaolin Golmei's (Tyler, Texas) 6-4 victory at #2 doubles. Adam Singleton (Manchester, England) and Ciaran McCarthy (Portmarnock, Ireland) completed the doubles sweep with a 6-4 win at #3 doubles.

In singles, the Saints continued to impress. Perry Gregg delivered a solid performance at #1 singles, beating Julian Tantera 6-1, 6-0. Luca McManus also came out on top in a competitive #2 singles match, overcoming Andres Jimenez 6-1, 4-1 (ret.). Matthew Jezky (Oak Brooke, IL) cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at #3 singles, defeating Santiago Sarudiansky.

Oscar Wai dominated Martin Capdevilla 6-2, 6-1 at #4 singles, while Polis Koursaros (Limassol, Cyprus) had no trouble with Juan Carrasco, winning 6-2, 6-0 at #5 singles. Naithaolin Golmei fought hard but fell 6-3, 6-1 in his match at #6 singles, leaving Holy Cross with a 4-0 victory.
