Saints fall 2-1 against Olivet Nazarene

The Holy Cross College men's soccer team faced off against Olivet Nazarene at home on Tuesday, October 8th, resulting in a hard-fought 2-1 loss. After a scoreless first half from the Saints and Olivet up 2 goals, Isa Sayeed found the back of the net when he scored an impressive goal, assisted by Isaac Filippo at the 52:56 mark, putting Holy Cross back in the match with a 2-1 score. The Saints outshot Olivet Nazarene 18-9 during this matchup but just couldn't see to find the back of the net. 

Despite the momentum, the Saints just couldn't equalized in the match. Leaving the match at a 2-1 loss for the Saints

 

 

NEXT TIME OUT:
The Saints will look to bounce back at a HOME match up on October 12th against St. Ambrose. Kickoff set for 2:30 PM, and the Holy Cross student-fan section, the Dog Pound, will have yard games and Franky's Taco Truck out at both the Women's and Men's matchs!
