Saints Defeat Lourdes 1-0

The Holy Cross College men's soccer team returned to play Saturday evening for an away game vs Lourdes. The first half consisted of hard work and grit by the Saints getting 2 shots on goal. The first half wrapped up with a tie 0-0. Holy Cross was determined to win the game as they showed more hustle between the lines. The only goal scored came late in the game with 1:21 left. Anthony Panayiotou scored his goal with an assist by Nathan Sanchez off a corner kick. The game was fierce, with each side showcasing exceptional skill and resilience. Holy Cross finished the game above Lourdes 1-0. Holy Cross is currently holding a record of 2-3-1 for the regular season. 

 
 

 

NEXT TIME OUT: 

The Saints return to play on September 14th when they are back at home against Oakland City. Kickoff set for 12:00pm.
