Palmer Named CCAC Player of the Year, Five Saints Earn All-Academic Honors
The Holy Cross Men's Golf team capped off an outstanding season with major recognition at the CCAC Postseason Awards, led by freshman Jacob Palmer, who made an immediate splash in his debut year.
Palmer was named to the CCAC First Team All-Conference after posting a stellar scoring average of 74.2, the lowest in the entire conference—a performance that secured him CCAC Player of the Year honors. His consistency, focus, and composure set the tone all season long and established him as one of the most dominant players in the region.
Off the course, the Saints also excelled in the classroom. Holy Cross College and Olivet Nazarene University shared the distinction for the most student-athletes named to the CCAC All-Academic Team, with five Saints earning the honor:
Michael Chase, Nicholas Jenness, Dillan Mori, Zach Toul, and Jack Urbanski.
With a rising star in Palmer and a strong academic foundation, the Holy Cross Men's Golf program continues to thrive and build momentum for the future.
