Freshman Jacob Palmer Named the First CCAC 2025 Men's Golfer of the Week

"CHICAGO --- Holy Cross College's Jacob Palmer (Granger, Ind.) has claimed the first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week award for the 2025 campaign, the league office announced on Thursday.

The freshman garnered the recognition after placing second among 64 golfers at the Defiance College (Ohio) Island Pointe Intercollegiate on Thursday and Friday.  He shot a three-over-par 147 for his two rounds.

Palmer opened with a 75 on Thursday before shooting an even-par 72 on Friday.

Holy Cross finished ninth as a team among 12 squads competing." - CCAC
