
Men's Golf take on the Battle at Blackthorn
Recap:
At the "Battle at Blackthorn" tournament on September 9-10, the men's golf team showed promising results as they began their season. Mikey Chase led the way with a strong performance, improving from a first-round score of 79 to a second-round 70, givng him the 4th overall individual spot. Jack Urbanski finished with scores of 73 and 79, and placed top 8, while Jacob Palmer also demonstrated a solid finish, moving from 80 to 76. Zach Toul and Dillan Mori faced more challenges, with scores of 89/83 and 92/83, respectively. The team placed 3rd out of 12 total teams.
Coach Marvin praised the team's effort, stating, "This was a great first measuring stick for our guys this season. It was fun to see 4 out of 5 guys all improve their scores from day 1 to day 2. Excited to see how we do with 2 tournaments in the next 8 days!"
