Men's Basketball Team and 8 Men's Basketball Players Named in the NABC Honors List and Gain the Team Academic Excellence Award.

Notre Dame, Ind. The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) recently announced the 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and the NABC Honors Court. The Holy Cross men's basketball team received the Team Academic Excellence award, one of only two men's basketball programs in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) to earn this award. Aris Duni, Asher Puhalski, Beau Barhams, Drew Adzia, Joe Kelly, Jordan Montrose, Nash Hostetler, and Phil Robles II were named to the NABC Honors Court, which recognizes collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics throughout the 2024-2025 season. This distinction is a prestigious honor because it is the only academic award that encompasses every level of college basketball.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes programs from across the nation with a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Holy Cross College men's basketball team was one of only two programs in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference to earn this distinction.

In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications are as follows:
1. Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2024-25 academic year.
