Bio

Tom Robbins enters his 7th year in charge of the Holy Cross College women’s basketball program. In addition to his coaching role, Robbins also serves as the Pfeil Center Manager.

Under his leadership, the Saints have recorded the only three winning seasons in program history — the last three consecutive years. Holy Cross has also qualified for the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) postseason tournament five out of the past six seasons, the most appearances in program history. During this stretch, the Saints earned their first-ever CCAC First Team All-Conference selections with Grace Adams (2023, 2024), while five other players have been named to the All-Conference team. Robbins has also coached two CCAC Freshman of the Year winners and has guided more than 20 players to CCAC All-Academic honors.

Robbins came to Holy Cross from Ancilla College, where he transformed the women’s basketball program into a national contender. During his four years at Ancilla, he compiled a 74-41 record and was named the 2017-2018 NJCAA Region 12 District G Coach of the Year after leading the Chargers to a 26-7 record and a berth in the NJCAA national tournament.

Prior to Ancilla, Robbins served as the assistant men’s basketball coach before becoming the head women’s coach. He also coached varsity basketball at Wabash High School, where he was named Wabash County Boys Coach of the Year.

Robbins holds a Master of Science in Sports Management from Indiana State University. He and his wife, Trisha, are the parents of two children, Braxten and Addison.
