Saints Get Road Win Over Eagles

Elgin, Ill.  The Holy Cross women's basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon when they travel to Judson University. The Saints jumped out to an early 12-2 lead, midway through the first quarter of action. Holy Cross would limit the Eagles to just eight points in the first, as they would end the first quarter up 23-8. The Saints struggled offensively in the second quarter, shooting just 15% from the field but their defense still stayed strong, holding Judson to just 10 points in the quarter. At halftime, Holy Cross lead 33-21. In the third and fourth quarters, Holy Cross would extend their lead and outscore the Eagle 48-35 to secure the 81-56 victory. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 13-11 and 10-6 in conference play while Judson stands at 2-21 and 2-14.
